Wedding surprise

Last week I played at a wedding ceremony at the Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone. Although this isn’t unusual in itself, the groom had booked me as a surprise for his fiancée as she walked down the aisle. As I drove home, I was struck by how lucky I am that my work lets me share in people’s special moments. Playing Mendelssohn’s Wedding March on one of the most important days of someone’s life, as a surprise, was really an honour and something I could never tire of!
