Camden Christmas Market
This weekend saw the first ever Camden Road Christmas market in Tunbridge Wells. And what a treat! Stalls with food from all over the world, charity shop bonanzas and wares from businesses I didn’t have a clue were tucked away in some of the back streets surrounding the area. Angela from Chez JJ headed up organising the day and, knowing how much work goes into putting on such events, I think she did brilliantly.
Most importantly for me was of course the music and entertainment. There was the Tunbridge Wells Ukulele band and Jazz club, Intraverse, the Harveys, rapper MC Tempo and the Camden Road Community Choir as well as an assortment of buskers.
I was asked to close the market with a few carols on my violin. As the choir joined in and the sun began to set, it really was a perfect end to a lovely day.
